I know this is late, but we had such a great Christmas it took a while to recover! Originally our plan was to spend Christmas Eve with Chad's family, open gifts at our house Christmas morning and drive to Alliance Christmas Day to spend the rest of Christmas with my parents. Tuesday, as I was watching the weather, I was pretty sure that we wouldn't be driving to Alliance on Friday. A HUGE snow storm was supposed to move in Thursday night. I called both Chad and my mom almost in tears because we wouldn't be able to come. I was so bummed that I might not get to see Geneva and Ralf and the kids from Hawaii. It was suggested that we should leave Tuesday for Alliance. I said "no" because we should spend time with Chad's family and that wasn't fair. Around noon Chad called and said that he had talked to his family and they understood. I left work around 12:30, flew home and packed as much and as fast as I could. Let's just say that the van was FULL!! We got on the road around 3. Geneva and Ralf flew into Denver on Tuesday and were driving to Alliance, so we decided to surprise them. When we finally got to Alliance, we were going to pull ahead of the truck so they didn't see our car (They were at K-Mart) but they pulled into the driveway as we parked. So I flipped around and pulled into the driveway with my brights on. I really wish I had a camera to capture Geneva's surprise! Last she had talked to me, I hold told her I didn't know if we would be able to come back because of the weather. We ended up having a great time hanging out because it was way to cold to go outside! The kids got along GREAT! I am sure that next time we go to Grandma Mimi's and Papa Mike's the kids will be bored without their new cousins! We took the kids one night to see "Alvin and the Chipmunks 2" it was OK, but not as good as the first!

We had a great time getting to know the newest members of our family! We miss you guys already!
