So Saturday was the Kidwell BBQ. We got to Virginia's around 9:30 and it was cloudy. Chad and i moved the tent and started setting things up. Around 10:30 I was vacuuming the pool and it started to downpour! Of course I was a little disappointed that it was raining on BBQ day. We waited it out and the rain stopped about 10 minutes later. It stayed cloudy all afternoon, but it was still nice enough for a swim! The kids couldn't wait to get in! 
We 
grilled some hot dogs and hamburgers, Thanks CHAD!! Everybody brought yummy side dishes to share. When they were leaving, one of the boys asked their dad "How often do you have these work parties and are they always at this pool!" I suppose that makes it a success, the kids want to do it again. Hopefully next year more 
people will be able to attend and it will be a nicer day!
