Tower to the Sky!

Braxton built a city with his legos in his room. When Chad got home they built a tower that touched the ceiling! it wasn't very sturdy, but they were very proud of it!

Braxton's New Desk

For Braxton's birthday, we got him a Cars desk. They were out of stock online, so the guy at Toys R Us helped me order it. It was supposed to be delivered in 7-14 days to the store. After 15 days or so, I called and asked about it. I was told it had shipped and should be on the truck Thursday. Called Thursday and they said that the truck wasn't unloaded yet, call back. We stopped in Thursday night and it still wasn't there. I waited a week before I called back and was told it should be on the truck, call back thursday. I called back Thursday and was told that they had problems opening the door of the truck, they should have it tomorrow. The guy I talked to said that he would leave a note to call me one way or the other and let me know if it was there. Friday, no call. Saturday, no call. Monday, no call. Tuesday, I decided to stop in. After asking around, the guy walked to the shelf and brought the desk to me. I was so ticked! They had had it since Friday and instead of calling me, put it in the shelf. My warning to you, DO NOT order stuff from Toys R Us at the store!
Once we finally got the desk, Chad put it together and Braxton LOVES IT!

Visiting the Horses

On Saturday we went out to Sandy's house. Sandy works with Chad and has lots of horses, chickens, and ducks. and a MULE! Braxton and Lilly had such a great time petting the animals. Braxton accidenly touched the electric fence, he didn't enjoy that at all. As soon as he did it he was screaming at chad for letting him do it! Lilly kept chasing the chickens around and saying "boo!" they would all fly up and away, she loved it. Eventually the chickens started running as soon as Lilly came near them. She really enjoyed chasing the dog around too, he didn't want to play to he kept running away, and Lilly thought it was a game so she kept chasing! We had such a great time! thanks for letting us visit Sandy.

Inside Garden

We decided to start our garden inside this year. So far we have planted Peas, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, and onions. Here are some pictures of our garden! We found out tonight that the peas have started to sprout!

Kindergarten Physical

We went to the doctor yesterday and Braxton is officially healthy enough to go to Kindergarten next year. They had a party room after everythign was done, he had a great time. They gave him a shirt for the class of 2022. WOW!!

Peek-a-Boo

The kids cleaned out the tupperware drawer and played Peek-a-Boo. They had a great time!

Happy Birthday Braxton

I cannot believe that my baby boy is 5 years old today. It just doesn't seem possible. Just yesterday he was a baby, but now he is a smart, beautiful boy.

Braxton, you are so smart. You always want to know how things work, and simple answers do not work for you! I am sure I will have to get you a mechanical engineering book to answer all of your questions about the plane to Hawaii! You are so helpful (when you want to be) and so loving! I love to get kisses from you! You are a great big brother to Lilly. We are blessed to have you as part of our lives, we love you!!!

A special Thank You to Hy-vee! The guy bagging our groceries last night was talking to Braxton about the cookies we were buying and Braxton told him it was his birthday. The guy called customer service and they announced it over the intercom. Then all of the other departments went on the intercom and wished Braxton a Happy Birthday! He thought it was pretty neat!
